The Aloft Hotel, Abu Dhabi
Myself and Bow were asked to do a commission painting for the Aloft hotel. They wanted something very simple but with a twist. So as the word ALOFT means in held up high, we switched the letters around to create Float, so its floating up high. The wall is 17mtrs w x 7mtrs h and slopes away at a 30 degree angle with a 4 ft gap from the the floor to wall which made access tricky.
