Bloomingdales, Lets Face it.

I was asked to paint for an event for Bloomingdales in Dubai over the last couple of weekends.

The idea was based on Make Up Face charts where the client comes and fills a face chart using the colours of make up they feel looks best on there skin. I had to paint using the new seasons colours.....kind of and i know nothing about make up :)

Dubai Police

The Police and graffiti dont really go hand in hand but whilst painting the new syadelic piece 2 local Dubai Police Men dropped by to check out the process and seemed to like what was going down to the extent that they ask for a dedication to put up for them (bottom left of piece on previous post ) I must admit that i did panic slightly when they rolled in. They came back every hour to see the progress of the piece.

The Start.

Dubai Graffiti
An idea to try and push the Graffiti/Street art scene a little more within Dubai and the surrounding emirates. To show that it is possible to paint here within the limits and laws of this part of the world also for this region to see and understand what this art we all love is about.
Writers/Artist do pass through here and do paint.
I will try and document as much as i can on my travels around the UAE from events to street pieces so if any writers that have passed through and have taken flicks of their work drop me a line and i will post it up as some may have gone by now due to the heavy construction or the event ending.
